This little kitten came in as a 3week old rescue found with severe injuries from a dog. Luckily, he found his way to a super owner who was able to cope with the treatment he would require.

Examinations found quite severe injuries to his left front leg. His owner, who is suitably qualified, had tried lots of physio but his leg continued to contract and it was awkward for the kitten to move. It was decided that the best course of action would be to remove the limb.

Amputation of a limb is, for humans, a life changing experience but animals tend to cope very well and it is often the best way of dealing with certain limb injuries.

As you can see from the photos, he is making a super recovery and is expected to live a full and happy life no doubt getting up to all sorts of tricks !!!
