Vaccinations are recommended to start at three months of age.  Before this, foals are protected by antibodies from the mare.

We recommend that your horse be vaccinated against Tetanus.  Horses are particularly susceptible to this disease.   The vaccination against Influenza, is generally given annually at the same time as the Tetanus vaccination.  An unvaccinated horse will need three injections, over a seven month period.  The appointments can be arranged by contacting the clinic.
